Reflecting on 2024: A Record-Breaking Year for The Bluebirds
2024 will go down as a year to remember for The Bluebirds. Not only did it mark an amazing 10 years together, it was our busiest year yet, packed with unforgettable moments, milestones, and plenty of music. We couldn’t have done it without your incredible support, so let’s take a moment to look back on some of our highlights.
Highlights of 2024
This year marked a series of firsts and special experiences for us as a trio. We were thrilled to perform on our very first cruise ship, bringing vintage vibes to the high seas. It was a dream come true to combine our love of travel and singing in such a unique setting.
Another major highlight was producing and starring in our very own theatre show for the D-Day 80th anniversary. This project was particularly close to our hearts, and being part of the commemorations was deeply moving. Traveling to Normandy on the same ferry that carried D-Day heroes and witnessing the anniversary ceremony was an honor we will never forget.
Sharing the stage with the fabulous Jive Aces was another moment we’ll treasure. We absolutely adore singing with a live band, and this collaboration even brought us to the iconic Ronnie Scott's. Performing at such a legendary venue was a dream come true and a testament to how far we’ve come.
In addition to these standout moments, we were privileged to be part of countless birthdays and weddings throughout the year. Being invited to share in these personal celebrations is always so special to us, and we never take it for granted.
The best part of 2024, however, wasn’t just the milestones or performances—it was the time we spent together as best friends, doing what we love.
Looking Ahead to 2025
If 2024 was a whirlwind, 2025 is shaping up to be just as exciting! Our calendar is already packed with incredible opportunities, including four more Saga cruises, numerous dates at Warner Leisure Hotels, and a particularly busy May for the VE Day 80th celebrations. We’re also looking forward to a summer full of events, returning to some of our favorite venues and debuting at new ones.
As always, we’ll keep you updated on any public events you can attend via our website and social media. Your support means the world to us, and we love reading your messages and comments. We hope to see many of you at our shows this year—don’t forget to say hello if you do!
Here’s to another fantastic year of music, friendship, and making memories. Thank you for being part of our journey.
Love,
The Bluebirds
